Jefferson Security Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Donald L. Jacot, Jr. to Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. Jacot joined the bank 10 years ago as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. In that time, he has been an integral part of our lending team and has shown a true commitment to our mission. With over 25 years of experience in banking and commercial lending, he demonstrates a strong knowledge of loan products and an understanding of the uniqueness of each customer’s situation.

Jacot represents the bank well both through his professional experience, expertise, and his active participation in many community events. Jacot’s community volunteerism over the years includes being a youth mentor through the JUMP Mentoring Program, participating in the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle’s annual Day of Caring and helping at the local county fairs. Jacot’s leadership is well demonstrated through his completion of Leadership Jefferson and in his current role as Past Chair of the Board of Directors of the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle. Jacot is also visible in the community while attending many sporting events and other academic activities with his family.

Don graduated from Penn State University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He also attended the ABA Commercial Lending School in Dallas, Texas in 2004. Don resides in Kearneysville, WV with his wife Jessica, and their children Isabella and Cameron.
